These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.ochairstudio.com, your interactions with OC Hair Studio, and certain services and communications provided by OC Hair Studio.

By accessing our website, requesting services, booking an appointment, making a purchase, or otherwise interacting with OC Hair Studio, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your interaction.

1. OC HAIR STUDIO SERVICES

OC Hair Studio provides salon, hair-extension, beauty, consultation, retail, and related services.

Services, pricing, appointment availability, estimated service times, photographs, descriptions, and other information displayed on our website or provided during consultations may change.

Results from hair extensions, color services, chemical treatments, hair services, lash services, and other beauty services vary from person to person.

Individual results may depend upon factors including hair condition, prior chemical services, maintenance, home care, products used, lifestyle, and compliance with aftercare instructions.

2. CONSULTATIONS

OC Hair Studio may provide consultations by telephone, text message, photographs, in person, or through other communications.

We may request information such as:

Current hair photographs
Desired hair photographs
Hair length
Hair density
Hair color
Color history
Previous extension history
Desired extension length
Desired extension volume
Other information reasonably necessary to recommend services

Recommendations and estimates are based upon the information available at the time.

Final recommendations or pricing may change following an in-person evaluation if your actual hair, desired results, required extension quantity, products, color requirements, service time, or other circumstances differ from the information originally provided.

3. APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are subject to stylist availability and OC Hair Studio's applicable booking policies.

Certain appointments or services may require:

A consultation
A deposit
Prepayment
A card on file
Advance purchase of extension hair
Other booking requirements

Cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, deposit, refund, and no-show policies disclosed during the booking process or before an appointment are incorporated into these Terms.

4. PRICING

Prices shown on our website may represent starting prices, estimates, or standard service prices unless expressly stated otherwise.

Final pricing may depend upon factors including:

Hair length
Hair density
Extension length
Extension weight or quantity
Hair color
Custom blending
Amount of product required
Complexity of the service
Stylist time
Additional services requested

OC Hair Studio may update prices from time to time.

A price change will not alter an already completed transaction except as permitted by applicable law or agreed by the customer.

5. PAYMENTS

You agree to pay charges that you authorize for products and services.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Additional terms provided by a payment provider may apply to your transaction.

6. WEBSITE USE

You may use the OC Hair Studio website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

Attempt unauthorized access to the website
Interfere with website operation
Introduce malicious code
Use automated methods to improperly scrape website content
Impersonate another individual
Submit fraudulent information
Use our website for illegal or abusive activity

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the OC Hair Studio name, logos, website design, text, photographs, videos, graphics, branding, and other original content are owned by or licensed to OC Hair Studio.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or commercially used without authorization except as permitted by law.

OC Hair Studio may use third-party services for functions such as:

Appointment scheduling
Payments
Communications
Telephone services
SMS/MMS messaging
Maps
Reviews
Social media
Analytics

Your interaction with a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy policies.

9. OC HAIR STUDIO SMS/MMS MESSAGING PROGRAM

OC Hair Studio operates an SMS/MMS customer communication program under the OC Hair Studio brand.

Text communications may be sent through GoDaddy Conversations, including Conversations Deluxe, telecommunications carriers, or other messaging technology used by OC Hair Studio.

The program is primarily intended for conversational and customer-care communications.

Messages may concern:

Customer inquiries
Consultations
Hair-extension services
Photographs related to consultations
Pricing and quotes
Appointment scheduling
Appointment confirmations
Appointment reminders
Appointment changes
Stylist availability

10. HOW CUSTOMERS OPT IN TO SMS

OC Hair Studio does not currently require customers to enter their mobile telephone number through our website to opt into text messaging.

Customers may opt in through the following methods.

A. Customer Initiates a Text

Customers may voluntarily text OC Hair Studio's published business telephone number.

By initiating an SMS/MMS conversation with OC Hair Studio, the customer is requesting that OC Hair Studio respond through that messaging channel regarding the customer's inquiry.

We may continue that conversation as reasonably necessary to respond to the customer's request.

B. Customer Calls OC Hair Studio

Customers may call our published business telephone number.

During a customer-initiated telephone call, an OC Hair Studio representative may ask whether the customer agrees to receive text messages relating to the customer's inquiry, consultation, appointment, pricing, photographs, or requested services.

When required, we obtain the customer's verbal permission before initiating the text conversation.

For example, a representative may ask:

“May we text you at this number with information regarding your consultation, appointment, pricing, photos, or the services we discussed today?”

The customer may accept or decline.

Declining SMS communication does not prevent the customer from purchasing products or services from OC Hair Studio.

11. NO AUTOMATIC MARKETING CONSENT

Calling OC Hair Studio, texting us about an inquiry, or agreeing to receive customer-care messages does not constitute blanket consent to receive unrelated promotional or marketing text messages.

If OC Hair Studio uses SMS/MMS for promotional or recurring marketing communications in the future, we will obtain any additional consent required before sending those communications.

Consent to receive promotional SMS/MMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

12. MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies.

The number of messages you receive depends upon your inquiry, consultation, appointment activity, customer-service needs, and your communications with OC Hair Studio.

Because our current messaging program is primarily conversational, there is no fixed number of messages sent each month.

13. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Message and data rates may apply.

Your wireless carrier may charge fees according to your mobile telephone plan.

OC Hair Studio is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.

14. HOW TO OPT OUT

You may discontinue SMS/MMS messages from OC Hair Studio at any time by replying:

STOP

We may send one final text message confirming that your opt-out request has been processed.

Once processed, we will stop sending SMS/MMS communications to that number unless you subsequently provide consent again or communications are otherwise permitted or required by law.

Where supported by our communications provider, other commonly recognized opt-out words may also be processed.

16. PRIVACY OF SMS INFORMATION

OC Hair Studio does not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Our communications and telecommunications providers may process information solely as necessary to provide messaging services to OC Hair Studio.

17. MOBILE NUMBER RESPONSIBILITY

By providing or using a mobile telephone number to communicate with OC Hair Studio, you represent that you are the subscriber, customary user, or otherwise authorized user of that telephone number.

If your number changes or is reassigned to someone else, please notify us or opt out of text messages before discontinuing use of that number.

18. MESSAGE DELIVERY

Text-message delivery depends upon mobile carriers, telecommunications networks, devices, and other systems outside our control.

Messages may occasionally be delayed or undelivered.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

OC Hair Studio does not guarantee that every SMS or MMS message will be delivered or received.

19. CHANGING OR TERMINATING SMS SERVICES

OC Hair Studio may modify, suspend, or discontinue its SMS/MMS messaging program or change the telephone number used for the program.

If material changes are made to these SMS Terms, updated Terms will be posted on our website.

20. CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information.

If you voluntarily send us photographs, messages, or other materials in connection with a consultation or service request, we may use those materials to provide the requested consultation or service.

Submission of a private consultation photograph does not automatically give OC Hair Studio permission to publish that photograph for advertising or marketing purposes.

Separate authorization may be obtained when appropriate for public promotional use.

21. WEBSITE INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information.

However, our website may occasionally contain errors, outdated information, technical issues, or unavailable features.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information.

22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OC Hair Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising solely from use of the website or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer law.

23. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts serving Orange County, California.

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

OC Hair Studio may update these Terms periodically.

The current version will be posted on our website with the applicable effective date.
