Avoid waterproof formulas for 24–48 hours because residue can interfere with bonding.

Eat, Hydrate & Relax
Wear comfortable clothing and limit caffeine if it makes your eyelids flutter.
Eye-area safety: Contact the studio before your appointment if you have current irritation, redness, swelling, an eye or eyelid infection, inflamed skin, a recent eye procedure or a history of adhesive reactions. The service may need to be postponed.

Beautiful Lashes Love Clean, Gentle Care
Your extensions follow the natural life cycle of the lash they are attached to, but your daily habits make a meaningful difference in how clean, even and full the set looks between appointments.
Do This
- Follow Rose’s exact adhesive cure-time instructions.
- Clean regularly with an extension-safe, oil-free cleanser.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry gently with cool, low airflow.
- Brush lightly with a clean spoolie when dry.
- Schedule refills every two to three weeks.
Skip This
- Do not rub, tug, pick or pull at extensions.
- Avoid oily products and waterproof mascara.
- Do not use a mechanical curler on extensions.
- Avoid water, steam and heavy sweat until cured.
- Never pull extensions off at home.
If something does not feel right: Persistent pain, itching, redness, swelling, discharge or vision changes require prompt attention from a qualified healthcare professional.
Keep the shape beautiful
Your Lashes Shed. Your Look Doesn’t Have To.
Natural lashes grow and shed continuously. When one sheds, its extension sheds with it. Other extensions grow farther from the lash line and need to be safely removed or refreshed.
A refill is not simply adding a few lashes. Rose checks the balance, removes grown-out extensions, fills new growth and restores the intended shape.
Waiting longer may mean there are not enough extensions remaining for a refill and a new full set may be recommended.

How long does an eyelash extension appointment take?
Most OC Hair Studio lash appointments are scheduled for about one hour. Exact timing can vary with the style, your natural lashes and whether old extensions require removal.
How often will I need a refill?
Most clients return every two to three weeks. Two weeks maintains a consistently fuller look, while some clients with strong retention prefer three weeks.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Extensions shed with the natural lashes they are attached to. You may still have extensions after several weeks, but the set gradually becomes lighter and less balanced without refills.
Which style is best for a first-time client?
Classic and Hybrid are popular starting points, but the best choice depends on your natural lash density and desired finish. Rose will guide you before the application begins.
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
Natural-lash health depends on appropriate weight and length, careful isolation, professional application and gentle care. Extensions that are too heavy, stuck together or pulled off can cause damage.
Can I wear eye makeup with extensions?
Yes, but avoid waterproof mascara, oily removers and products that require rubbing at the lash line. Ask Rose before applying mascara directly to extensions.
Can I shower, swim or exercise afterward?
Yes—after the initial adhesive cure period. Adhesives differ, so follow the timing Rose gives you. Afterward, cleanse the lash line and dry it gently following water, sweat or swimming.
Should I remove my contact lenses?
Yes. Remove contact lenses before the service and bring your glasses. Your eyes remain closed during the appointment.
What if I have sensitive eyes or a prior reaction?
Contact OC Hair Studio before booking. Rose may discuss a patch test or another approach, although no patch test can eliminate every risk. Current irritation or infection may require postponement.
Is it normal to lose a few extensions?
Yes. Natural lashes shed throughout their growth cycle, so an attached extension falls with the natural lash. Sudden heavy shedding or persistent discomfort should be discussed with the studio.
Can I remove extensions myself?
Do not pull, cut or pick them off. Home removal can break natural lashes or irritate the eyes. Book professional removal so the adhesive can be safely released.
